About GBLinHE
The goal of GBL in Higher Ed is to provide best practices and prompt targeted action, with an emphasis on plain speaking and evidence-based approaches.
GBLinHE shares content on game-based learning (GBL) and eXtended Reality (XR) in bite-sized, easily understood, and applicable parts.
Game-based learning is an often misunderstood and improperly applied method and the goal is to remove the mystery about what you need to do to make it work for you in your courses. In the case of XR, as a burgeoning technology, effective andragogical approaches are still in development.
The GBL in Higher Ed Blog offers a balance of myth-slaying and targeted questing for intrepid adventurers wanting to incorporate GBL and XR in their teaching practice.
